Hi Tom,
Have done the pi pico mod on the minitiouner v2, connects and sees two chanel’s but no video is decoded vlc, ffmpeg or mpv.
The pico has latest firmware from g4eml and works on the portsdown 4 with no problems.

Brian,
I had a similar problem initially on my setup. I can't remember the details at the moment and I am not at my computer, but it was down to one of the Opentuner settings to do with direct3d and video overlay.
When I am in the shack later I will have a closer look at what I changed.

Thinking again I seem to remember it was not a setting in Opentuner. It was in VLC. You could try a search for 'VLC no picture'.
I wont be able to check my system until this evening.
Of course this may not be the same as your system.

Probably the settings under "Preferences - Settings- Interface Settings - Input / Codecs"

The settings I had to change were in the VLC program under 'Tools / Preferences / Video'
Changed Display Output to 'DirectX(DirectDraw) video output'
Unticked DirectX Accelerated video output (overlay)

Hi,
Thanks, have tried it but no difference I can get the top channel if I toggle chn a/b, if I toggle 2nd chn the system hangs up, if connect again it reports no hardware found so at a loss now, works on portsdown 4 with some lockups saying no tuner found.

Brian make sure you are running the latest firmware on your Pico tuner. I released V0-10 last night which fixes some lockups.

Colin,
After updating I had the flashing led, will now run tests.
