Sorry, i got to this late. Glad you got it sorted Brian. 9/10 issues so far has always been related to wiring, especially if its connecting.

I had a similar problem, actually worse as the second TS crashed. Here's how I resolved it:
1. Make sure in OT you have both windows on seperate connectors Top-A Bottom-B (the second option)
2. Delete both device drivers (in control panel) and re-install them and double-check they have different addresses when you re-install. It seems that the driver install is not 100%.
