Open Tuner 0.1 - Test Version
Re: Open Tuner 0.1 - Test Version
Hi Tom is there a way to set the TS port to 2 instead of 1 as I use TS port2 ? the reason for using TS2 was I fitted a new Nim to a version 1 board and it was easier to use TS2 instead.

Hi John,
Hope you are well. It is currently using TS2 as the batc v2 boards also use TS2. I'm referring to the numbering on the nim though, so we might be referring to two different things. Can you give more info? maybe a schematic or pictures. Should be able to sort it out for you though. Feel free to drop me an email.

John, this seems to indicate that there is another issue not related to the TS. Even if the TS was pointing to the wrong one then it would still show the tuner information. Its clearly communicating with the NIM, but its not getting the required data. Can you try starting OT with the DISABLELNA command line parameter and see what it doesG7JTT wrote: ↑Tue Apr 25, 2023 10:47 pmdebug.jpg
sorry no circuit diagram, but see the debug attached it says its using ts port 1 I know in Minitioune I had to set it to TS2 as it was set to use TS1 by default. Although your software connects its not doing anything there after and just sits there with zero's next to everything. Hopefully this is clearer as to the issue I have, I'll open up the MT if needed to take a picture of how its wired up.

Code: Select all
C:\source\tuner_tests\open_tuner\bin\Release>opentuner.exe DISABLELNA

Re: Open Tuner 0.1 - Test Version
Ah I'm guessing its because I don't have the Nim with a LNA ? which is why I use this one on QO100 as a LNA isn't needed.

Re: Open Tuner 0.1 - Test Version
Hi everybody.
Open Tuner_0.7f_20230508 worked perfectly all day on my Win10 PC with the Minitiouner-S + extension. And then suddenly it still starts up but I don't get the normal screen anymore. I just get the following screen.
Anyone have an idea what's going wrong?

To me, and it's just a guess, it seems OT is not able to access any FTDI devices on any USB ports. I think I'd reload OT from scratch and see if it sorts itself out. It should progress after your OT stops to interrogating the USB ports for FTDI devices.
Good luck and it would be usefui and interesting to know what fixes it.

Hi Rudy,
Edit config.
%userprofile%\appdata\local\Amateur_Radio_-_ZR6TG
into a run dialog and get the folder
for example:
To open run dialog:
Windows Key + R
Then entrer
%userprofile%\appdata\local\Amateur_Radio_-_ZR6TG
Go into that folder and there will be a user.config file you can edit to restore settings.
I just deleated all the config files restarted OT and configured it to my settings.
I think OT is being displayed on a screen you don't have.
Hope that works for you!
