Thanks Martin, just tried that but it doesn't work for me. Open Tuner eventually opens, but any attempt to untick the relevant box just brings up "Not responding". I suppose it needs a time out to fail more elegantly, but that's rather nit picking.

What I would like is an option to put the MER of the beacon on in the fullest screen size, so I can turn the monitor towards the window and then furtle about with the dish and be able to see what's occurring. Might not suit many and certainly not all setups, but would be ideal for mine ;)

Thanks you all for the suggestions.
My VLC is the 32bit version.
My Serit tuner is one of the early ones which I suspect does not have the LNA .
Is there a way around this problem without having to change the Serit tuner

Yes, I'm sure it should be possible to make the software smarter to deal with it. Arthur can you drop me your email via a pm. I'm away for work for the rest of the week, but when I get back then I'll trouble shoot it with you.
Hi Arthur, I have sent you an email with a test version that allows you to disable the LNA initialization as a test to see if your problem is LNA related.

I'm adding a new option to disable the qo100 related items from the commandline for the future. Its coded in and will be in the next release sometime over the weekend :)

Hi Arthur,

Glad to hear :) I'll add it in the settings in next release, but for now you can use the shortcut to disable lna init.

Brilliant piece of software. I tried to set it to receive 2408.25 with a 0 LO offset but it didn't like it. Even setting it to 2408 gets rejected.

This should be sorted now Nigel, please test and let me know :)

Thanks for the further update Tom. AUTOCONNECT is working fine and a useful addition, but I am unable to get it to save the window size and position on exit. Is there a command line instruction for it, or some other means of forcing this? Thanks Tom!
