Confirm that frequency input of, say 2408250 with 0 offset now works so I can monitor my transmissions on the input frequency now - many thanks.

Window positioning seems to save OK on exit and restarting.

One minor point which is just an observation. I notice that, when a signal is on the threshold of being of receivable strength, the MER and D values temporarily go to crazy high values.

Brilliant piece of software. I tried to set it to receive 2408.25 with a 0 LO offset but it didn't like it. Even setting it to 2408 gets rejected.

This should be sorted now Nigel, please test and let me know :)

It looks good but ...

I have an old minitiouner board with the extender for a Serit 4335 tuner and Opentuner says connected but won't change the frequencies from the QO100 spectrum, nor will it receive any signals manually entering the frequency. I have DATV Express connected on USB as well. MINITIOUNE software works fine with it.

My Win 10 won't run it from the shortcut it will only run on the exe in the folder.

Hi Mike,
I have just downloaded the latest version to the desktop of my Win 10 laptop.
Extracted the zip file and created a shortcut.
Tested with my BATC Minitioune and my Minitioune Pro V2.
Program and shortcut works fine.

I'm running on W10. I tested the shortcut as an entry in the start menu, as an item on the task bar and as a desktop shortcut and they all worked including passing a parameter e.g. AUTOCONNECT.

I also tested it on my Minitiouner Express unit and that worked OK too, including updating the frequency and symbol rate from the spectrum display.

Nigel.

Hi Mike

I suggest that you test it without DATV Express (and any other USB devices) connected, so that the developer at least has half a chance of diagnosing the problem. And a copy and paste of the associated command window would help as well.

Have you added the resistor mod to to your tuner? You don't say which version of MiniTioune works for you.

Problem reports like yours where the reporter has not made any attempt at diagnostics are immensely frustrating for developers; I speak from bitter experience.

Hi Yiannis,

Thanks for that. From what I can see on the supplied logs (Thanks!) is that its detecting ftdi devices, but not the expected ft2232 module. I might have missed it, but what hardware are you using? Do you have other ftdi devices plugged into your pc? or multiple minitiouners? I'll add some reporting that will show what chip it detected, any more info you can give will help me resolve this.

Thanks,
T

Thanks, but I'm going to need more information, if you can show me the logs and any potential error messages then I can look into it.

Hi Nigel,

Thanks for that. Yes, Ive got it on the list to investigate, but its slightly lower priority ;)

Thanks for all the feedback!

Window size and position not saved here. Windows 10 with current updates. AMD processor. I am assuming there's no command line stuff needed, it should "just work"?

Happy to provide whatever may be of assistance. Thanks, otherwise 100% solid.
