Request for language translations:

I would like to have multi languages in Open Tuner. If anybody is keen to help translate then please have a look here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

The google doc contains words/expressions/etc that needs translating. Simply make a copy of the spreadsheet, add in the translations and send/share with me.

If you are keen then probably a good idea to post here so that multiple people aren't working on the same translations at the same time ;)

Thanks,
Tom

New version available: https://www.zr6tg.co.za/open-tuner/

Image

- adds rf input selection
- adds rf input power level (based on https://wiki.batc.org.uk/MiniTiouner_Po ... Indication)
- misc ftdi device detection changes
- added licence to repo

P.S - probably last update until the weekend :) It was long weekend in South Africa so I could spend time on it, but back to work for the next few days. Please do keep the requests/bug reports coming in though.

Do these errors, which occur every time, hold any great significance? I played with VNC's settings for hardware accelerated decodings to no avail. Thanks again Tom, fantastic work!

Main: Starting VLC
[068ebce0] imem demux error: Invalid get/release function pointers
Open Media Input
Clearing out TS Queue
Done... starting buffering
VLC: Playing
[068c8b18] direct3d11 vout display error: SetThumbNailClip failed: 0x800706f4
[068c6ea8] direct3d11 vout display error: SetThumbNailClip failed: 0x800706f4
[24622618] main decoder error: buffer deadlock prevented
[2456c928] main decoder error: buffer deadlock prevented
[2456cbd0] mpeg4audio packetizer: AAC channels: 1 samplerate: 48000
Best regards,

Chris, 2E0ILY in rural Shropshire.

It was a lot more fun being 20 in the 70's than being 70 in the 20's

Some of the issues are related to my timing on starting vlc to play and then sending the TS data, others are related to it just expecting specific data that isn't sent through most encoded video from our tools. If the video is playing then I wouldn't worry about it, the others I'm working on eliminating. The difference here is that I'm not passing a udp stream to the embedded vlc (like with the longmynd client), but feeding it the binary data directly.

Like the green Null packets, very visual.
How can it cope with a C band LNB where the LO is higher than the RX (LO on 5.150GHz, RX on 3.404 GHz, IF 1.75GHz.....
Guess it needs an invert function?
Just tried it rxing me on 437MHz (and 1249) across the shack, that works too :-) But now it needs different Tuner controls for each band ;-)
Lock in 1-2 seconds, great work :-)
