Looking for the standard PIC chips to fit 23cms boards from Comtech. RX and TX

Hi Kevin, thanks for the reply.
It isn't the LCD control chip I need ( I believe that is what Mobicomm is selling on eBay )
Its the chips that come with the boards from the supplier.
Many users remove those when using an LCD controller, which is what I did around 12 years ago. I've since misplaced them dispite searching.
I've obtained some other Comtech boards from a silent key and don't wish to use an LCD controller with these hence my request " Wanted Comtech Chips/ICs "

looking deeper in the Mobicomm ebay shop I found this chip:

although it is only for the RX board...
maybe you can write to them asking for the TX one!

Hi Ken
They are just standard 16F628 PICs - blank ones on ebay for less than £3.
I was given a set of all the hex files by Giles G1MFG for distribution as needed - I'm sure we put them on the BATC website somewhere but if not I have a copy here.

If you are still stuck I can do you a pre-programmed 16F84A that drops straight in.
I have code for 23cm & 13cm TX & RX. This is not copyright code, I reverse engineered how the module is programmed and wrote my own from scratch.
Let me know if you want one, I guess about £6 posted would cover it.

Thanks Noel, its been about 20 years since I used my pic programmer. I would need to try and remember how I did it. It's just a distant blurr in the fog of my brain as is the location of said programmer !
I will try and take up Terry's offer but if that fails I'll get back to you.
