ffmpeg inclusion.

Post by g6hfs » Fri May 12, 2023 5:42 pm

Hi,

Any thoughts or inclusion of ffmpeg as player to decode h266 in winterhill, or an update.

Not for displaying on the RPi. There don't seem to be any options at the moment.

I'm working on a whpcviewer version using mpv-vvceasy. You may have seen G4KLB demonstrating it on the net last night.

Still a couple of issues to sort out. There's so little H.266 at the moment that it's likely that it won't be released and I'll wait for VLC to catch up.

Well VLC still leaves H266 impossible..
Any chance we get a new FFPlay or MPV player
More and more VLC is simply not covers all new signals..
Maybe our australian friend can help.
