Hi,
Using the whpcviewer on my 64bit Windows 11 PC and having a problem that some stations video freezing.
Two stations that I have had problems with are ZS6YM and ZS1MM just happened to be on at the time I was testing.
If I use WinterHill Viewer both stations are OK.
Also if I use my MiniTiounePro V2 or Longmynd Client both stations are OK.
The problem is only when I use whpcviewer.
I have checked that all VLCs are allowed through my firewall both private and public.
Installed is VLC 3.0.17.473's

I don't have W11 to try.
It it just the one window that locks up, or do all windows lock up at the same time?
If you send another station to that window, does it start displaying again?
Try closing window 4 and start VLC separately looking at media stream udp://@:9944
Next time it locks up on windows 1-3, try sending it to window 4 and see what happens.
You'll have to kick VLC when the station changes on window 4. n for NEXT is the quickest way.

Hi Brian,
Thanks for a quick response!
It doesn't matter which window the station is in the video freezes.
I can change to another station in a window that has frozen and that station will be OK.
Sound always keeps going on frozen video.
M0DTS WinterHill Viewer program will always play the video that has frozen.
I think that program uses VLC32 as does MiniTiounePro V2 or Longmynd Client.
Does your program use VLC 32 or 64bit that's why I wondered if it was a VLC64 problem.
Will keep testing

whpcviewer doesn't need a particular version, but it does look for 64 bit before 32 bit.
Try disabling/adjusting the hardware acceleration setting in VLC.
Close whpcviewer and open a separate instance of VLC-64.
TOOLS
PREFERENCES
INPUT/CODECS
HARDWARE-ACCELERATED DECODING
Then save and try whpcviewer.

Some video graphics seem touchy about using hardware acceleration. Which video card / system is it?

I have the same problem with the picture of those amateurs with Minitiouner. When disabling hardware decoding problems are gone. Also using NVidea card.
