JP4 on Winterhill PCB : Functions / Usability ?

Post by DG8KD » Mon Feb 14, 2022 8:19 am

Hi,

Maybe I missed it somewhere, but I am unable to find any information about JP4.
It looks very similar to J1 of the front panel of the Ryde receiver.
So if it is similar, what are the possible functions? What are the usecases?
Any hints?

Thanks

It is not currently used. Yes it looks similar. Hopefully identical. The board is not the Winterhill, the board is multi-purpose, Winterhill is one application, the only one so far, but not necessarily the only one.

Thanks Mike for clarification.
Sorry for misnaming the PCB.
As I used my RPi4 for the Winterhill application now, the Ryde Front panel became obsolet and I was looking for re-usability.

Perhaps you could do a test and plug it in. Then use a Ryde SD card in the Winterhill, plug in a minitiouner and see if it works as a Ryde. The other winterhill parts won't be used but it might be useful.
