Hi Brian,

No, I did not see this line this time "mv: cannot move 'winterhill-main' to 'winterhill/winterhill-main': Directory not empty".

Good. I think that error only appeared because the install had been run twice.

On the sudo find output, I don't have any of those 'node' lines. I don't know what they are. I've done a new build from scratch today.

What I can't see are any 'linux-headers' lines. These are loaded by install_winterhill.sh and are needed to compile the WH kernel module whdriver-3v20. The lack of the headers causes the 'No such file or directory' error.

I'll get set up for Zoom, if you can send the link to g4ewj@yahoo.com

A couple of things to try in the meantime:

cd /home/pi
uname -mrsa (gives the linux version)
nano winterhill/whlog.txt (look for install errors; CTRL-X to exit)

Try installing the kernel headers manually:

sudo apt-get -y install raspberrypi-kernel-headers

Just to update this one:

It seems as though the RPi wasn't allowed to do an online update before installing the WH software. This caused an install problem for WH when it couldn't find an online software repository to update something that it expected to already be installed.
