Hi all,
I have the Winterhill running with the modified version for OpenTuner. It works great, with one problem, after one hour the Winterhill stops and OT shows "Timeout". This timeout setting is defined in the .ini file as OFFNET_TIME = 3600.
Is it possible to remove this setting completely leaving the Winterhill running forever? (OFFNET_TIME = 0 does not work)
Or is there another way to avoid the stopping?

Yes, that is a bug. Zero was intended to disable it.
It is stored internally as a 32 bit number of milliseconds, so if you change the line in the .ini file to OFFNET_TIME = 4000000, that will give you over 6 weeks. That is about the maximum possible value. I'll check that myself later when I can get to my WH.
The timeout is reset by a new tuning command.

Thanks for your quick response. This will help for the time being.
For your information, Resetting the timer on receiving commands does not work, you can communicate with the Winterhill whatever you want but after the "offnet time" the receiver stops.

I find that the offnet timeout reset works correctly.
I've had to patch the program to convince it that everything is going off net. I've set the offnet timeout to 10s. As long as I repeatedly send a tuning command within 10s of the last, a timeout never occurs. If I have the beacon on receivers 3 and 4, sending a tuning command to receiver 3, at least every 10s, prevents receiver 4 from timing out.
