Just home after a 5hr 15 min drive, now to unpack but the kettle is on. I have to say a big thank you to everyone for making this newcomer to the DATV scene feel so welcome. It really was great to meet so many I've only seen on various streams, so far. I look forward to being able to participate in the various nets and events.

Thanks once again.

Thanks to all, especially the organisers. It's a significant effort to host an event like this. I am lucky as I only live a little over an hour away. It was great to see everyone.

Just to say how much I enjoyed my first CAT(21). Very many thanks to those who organised and thanks again to the patient duo who fixed my Portsdown/Pluto.

Thanks to everybody who attended and made CAT 21 Part 1 into such an enjoyable event.

There were 2 unclaimed items left at the end of the day. A screwdriver (pictured below) and an A5 sheet of paper that seems to be some sort of pencilled temperature or power calibration table.

I have both items if anyone would like to claim them.

Home now after staying/working with my son Josh in Warwick until Monday evening. Journey home was the proper 2 hours, unlike the Friday 4:40 :-(

My grateful thanks to the organisers for sorting everything - I came back with all sorts of things I didn't know I needed and yet more useful stuff that will help my various builds.
And we still have the online talks to look forward to :-)

....just about got things packed away and the shack back together!

A really worth-while event, my thanks to the Committee for organizing it, Midlands Air Museum for their hosting it and all the participants who brought it to life. Lots of interest, lots of questions, bits to buy, a great occasion. Also good to meet up with faces from the forum or QO-100 and chat over dinner with those who were around, and learning a lot in the process. I look forward to the next occasion.

Jen, you've shamed me!! I'm going to have to at least paint my dish and do a less 'freehand' labelling on mine now ;-)

Gareth,
On the contrary ! Your dish represents an excellent case of improvisation and demonstrates the use of the 'upside down' technique as used in some professional set-ups. I may make one myself. For a paint job, I'd go for Camo.
