Hi Gareth,

with the GNU solution I had already successfully tested 35K via the satellite. But realistically, 66K is pretty usable.
Because we have 1705 individual carriers within one channel.
At 35K that would only be 20 Hz per carrier.
Everything has to be perfect, i.e. frequency stability, no phase noise, etc.
But that was without the KNUCKER in between. KNUCKER would probably make things worse.

Yet another observation:

With GNU-Radio on 5 Mhz, it shares the AFC of KNUCKER.
This means that GNU no longer quits at some point if the frequency deviates too much.
GNU has no own AFC.
