Compatiblity DVB-T2 1.7MHz
Re: Compatiblity DVB-T2 1.7MHz
Hi Patrice
Thanks for letting us know that the old software works with 1.7 MHz DVB-T2 8K. Can you tell us whether the transmitter is using "Extended Carrier Mode"?
We have looked carefully at the specifications and are very puzzled!
One solution may be that we had a special 1.7 MHz DVB-T2 mode in the receiver code.

Hi Dave,
The modulator works in all normalized DVB-T and T2 modes with the Knucker, from QPSK to 256 QAM, and from 1K to 32 K normal or extended mode. Attached is the card documentation.
In 256 Qam mode it's works, but the software indicate 64 QAM and for extend mode is similare.

Re: Compatiblity DVB-T2 1.7MHz
Hi Dave,
I think a "Broadcast" menu and a second menu "Amateur" would be good.
Another question, would it be possible to create a file that would include all the graphics of the screen?
which will allow a specific display for each repeater ( color background, color text, text position, frequency, SR...) and this file will be not upgrade each time.

Hi Dave,
Do The last upgrade include 2 modes DVB-t broadcast and DVB-T amateur for 1.7 MHzBW ? (before to erase your special version)
About DVB-T3,the Chiness are really very early !!!

Re: Compatiblity DVB-T2 1.7MHz
Hi Patrice
No, I have not put that in the production build yet, so if you want to retain DVB-T2 1.7 MHz capability, please do not upgrade.
I'm thinking about how best to implement a solution. I wish that I understood the cause of the problem!

Re: Compatiblity DVB-T2 1.7MHz
Before anybody asks, it appears that the term DVB-T3 is a marketing term being misused to push Chinese receivers into countries switching to DVB-T2.
