Parts List

Post by G0LJF » Sun Mar 28, 2021 1:31 pm

Hi,

As with Winter Hill I am now amassing the parts to build one.

One part is perhaps more of a problem to obtain. The 3 input NAND gate in 14 DIP. 74HC10.

RS only do units of 25. 333-2811. CPC does not stock them.

SN74HC10 (3120445) and SN74HCT10 are available at Farnell.

As 0.5 to 7V devices, SN74HC10 should be fine, in units of 5, but not an SN74HCT10 which is recommended to be run from 4.5 to 5.5 V only.
The Knucker uses a 3.3 V supply for the 74HC10.

Hello,

What is the Hammond box reference that fits for the Knucker PCB ? (What dimension for Knucker PCB ?)
I was on Hammond web site. There are advertising "New sizes" for some series

It is exactly the same size at the BATC Minitiouner - Hammond 1455 series 103x120x53mm. The board is a little smaller 100x120mm and the tuner is not quite as tall so if it will fit in the new models isn't known.

Hi,

Hammond case end panels, MPN:

Case 1455N1201 has aluminium end panels whilst the 1455N1202 are with plastic end panels. The two suffix letters are the colour.
