Winterhill vs Knucker

Maybe I'm misreading one or both of the diagrams and specs but my understanding is that the Winterhill receiver project has a terrestrial input on one of the nims - one that I am reading to be a DVB-T input.
Does this mean that rather than using two separate receive units in the Portsdown build we will be able to use just the Winterhill for both DVB-S and DVB-T or will we need one of each to be able to receive both?

No that is NOT the case.

The Winter Hill uses the 4334 NIM and is DVB-S / S2 ONLY.

There are currently no plans for a BATC dual mode receiver.

WinterHill uses FTS4334L or FTS4335 NIMs, which can receive DVB-S or DVB-S2, but not DVB-T/T2.

The terrestrial input on the diagram in the presentation is just to show how the system could be used for any non QO-100 DVB-S/S2 signal.

Thank you gentlemen that makes it much clearer.

It looks like I'm going to need a bigger box to hold all the parts ;)
