The following application has been approved:
Date of application: 10/5/2021 :
Project description: GB3CT is a new ATV repeater located at 130M ASL at Caistor Top in the Lincolnshire Wolds.
We have recently completed the TX comprising of a Portsdown type build for 3404Mhz.
We are looking to add a pair of digital receivers using the Ryde RX.
1. Is for 70cms DATV
2. Is for 13cms DATV. The 13cms receiver will be a hybrid RX, working on both analogue and digital mode. We have decided to include legacy FM mode to enable users who have analogue transmitters for 13cms to access GB3CT without the immediate expense of purchasing and building DATV transmitters.
Benefits to ATV community: Situated on the Lincolnshire Wolds, GB3CT will effectively bridge Lincolnshire enabling East - West ATV communication which is very difficult due the topgraphy of the Wolds.
Total amount of funding requested: £260
Details of costs / items:
2x Raspberry Pi4 @ £55 each
2x Serit FTS-4334LV NIM @ £25.50 each
2x Ryde SD Card @ £10.00 each
2x MiniTune V2 PCB @ £4.50 each
2x MCP1826 1 volt regulator @ £2.00 each
2x DATV receiver USB interface module @ £26.50 each
2x Ryde receiver GPIO breakout PCB @ £3.50 each
2x Ryde push button front panel PCB @ £3.50
