It is still a Ryde. We don't have Mini Rydes with minituners.
There already is an on-screen audio level, though it is only there when you adjust the volume do you mean a dynamic one like a VU meter?

A bar graph of the audio level, that shows while the blue box is on, would be useful for checking that audio is being transmitted.
It could also be an option to have on all the time if you were checking your own transmission with rx audio off (to stop howl round)
The bar graph might be better as part of the blue box as part of implementing it.

I expect it would, but that's likely to need quite a lot of processing power. It might be better just as a number representing the mean audio level.
I am still not quite sure why it is needed as there isn't a lot the RX can do about there being no audio on the TX. However the TS analysis in Minitioune would be a nice to have.
Maybe this is more needed at the TX end, if the OM isn't watching the chat, then they won't know. Perhaps some form of on-screen indication (assuming using the Portsdown) that there is audio being sent and at what level. Perhaps even better some TS statistics, the audio data rate, the video data rate and the amount of nulls. A very low audio data rate implies there is no audio, but a high one doesn't mean the audio is intelligible. The main reason for unintelligible audio is trying to send more video data than the bandwidth allows and the buffers overflowing. A system that works perfectly with a talking head falling over when the camera is moved around the shack for example. This happens because constant bit rate H264/265 is not in practice constant, with H265 being much less constant than H264, but giving much better images most of the time.
I guess you know if you are using the Pluto and a script it can already tell you this in the TS analysis window which is very helpful is spotting issues.
