Ryde and Wifi

I have always noticed a line which says something like "wifi disabled by rfkill". Is there a way to enable Ryde to connect to my network by wifi? It works well with Portsdown, but I cannot find the instructions to connect a Ryde.

Hi.
This is pretty much raspberry stuff.

Login with putty to ssh.
type
sudo raspi-config

follow the screens.. somewhere at the top youll find the setup for wifi..

Google is your friend here/..

Indeed, basic PI OS config, but Ryde is intended for consumers. It wasn't initially an issue as earlier PIs didn't have Wifi built in.

You may find you need to set a country code for it to work. This can also be done from the command line by editing the right files.

Benno, Mike,
Thank you for your help. I now have it running on wifi. I have never come across this config page before, but I can see that it is very useful. Some of us have no knowledge of Linux and Raspbian and really need to be told the simplest of things. Once we know, we're away - one of the nice things about the support that BATC members give each other.
