Now Safe to Update Ryde

Post by G8GKQ » Sun Oct 22, 2023 1:44 pm

Looks like there are some problems at GitHub who host the Ryde updates and builds. If you we considering trying a Ryde update or new build, suggest you wait until the problems are resolved.

I hope so Benno. I now have a dead Ryde as well. I could spend an hour rebuilding it from a working one, but I will wait and see....

It seems that GitHub have fixed the problem, so it is now safe to build or update.

If you have a dead Ryde caused by a failed update, simple log in to the command line and type

Code: Select all

./update.sh
It won't work the first time, so after it reboots log in again, and type

Code: Select all

./update.sh
It should then be back to normal.
