Hi Philippe

The 0 on GPIO red 7 indicates that the tuner has not locked to the incoming signal.

Things to check:
  • Make sure you have selected the right input socket (A or B)
  • Has the pre-set in use been configured to work with the symbol rate you are sending to the Ryde?
  • Does the screen display the red background with black text "Not Locked"?

Philippe

You are using the "Interim" receiver, not the final version.

The final version of the Ryde DVB-T receiver is integrated with Ryde. So if you go into the Ryde on-screen menu, and then scroll through the presets, you will find some DVB-T presets. You can adjust those using the remote control, or amend them (use a text editor on the file ryde/config,yaml).

The interim receiver does not activate the GPIO line. The final version should do.

Ignore what I said Philippe. I misunderstood what you were asking. I thought you were referring to DBV-S

Hi Dave

What should I modify in the config.yaml file to have the image instead of having a black screen with the indications in white??
I find it weird that no one has the same problem as me.
thank you for your reply

Phillipe,

Have you updated to the Ryde latest firmware - you need to do this if you want any support at all...

If not you cannot change the screen colours.

Philippe

If you want to modify the config.yaml file, the items that you need to modify are further down, so use the "page down" key to see them.

Your big problem is that you are using the ssh menu to control the Ryde, not a Remote Control and the on-screen (HDMI output) menu. For proper DVB-T operation, you need to select a DVB-T preset from the on-screen menu, just like you would select a DVB-S/S2 preset. Scroll through all the presets (slowly)and you will see what I mean.
