I have just reproduced the fault reported by CU2ED and G4GHD. While I work on it, please do not update your Ryde or attempt any new builds.
Edit - details of the prblem (not solution) here: https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?t=343972

Ryde - Now Safe to Update or New Build
Ryde - Now Safe to Update or New Build
I have published an update (202212090) which cures the Ryde build (and update) problem.
So new builds should work OK. Builds that have broken in the last couple of days should be cured by running a software update: Log in to the ssh prompt, type menu, select "10 Check for Software update" and press y.
This update does not add any new features, so if everything is working for you, then don't do it!
I'll add the fix to Portsdown 4 and Portsdown 2020 tomorrow.
