Customising the Ryde information display
Re: Customising the Ryde information display
I was playing with that in our local repeater for 70cm and 23cm..
It was more easy to just create a second ryde and MT to have the benefit of having multiple channels. But thats almost a winterhill indeed.
Still putting a winterhill in a repeater might be an challenge.

Re: Customising the Ryde information display
Help!!
Have tried this edit (using the internal editor of WinSCP using spaces as specified) on GB3PV's Ryde. Firmware version 202207150.
No permanent of display of MER
I did the same about a year or so ago on an earlier version (sorry no idea which one) it DID work.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong this time.
Help!

inactive:
MUTE: null
SIGLEVEL: null
This works... clearly someone's been fiddling or I've not been reading the release notes.... ........
Anyway, I'm happy now. Hacked my way round it as usual!

On the GB3EY repeater we use this code:
Replace your OSD section with the above and then play with it to suit your needs.
Note that the spaces are critical; use cut and paste to make sure the spaces are all copied over.

Re: Customising the Ryde information display
Hello
I followed the instructions of Clive G3GJA but impossible to have the information permanently on the screen except the VOLUME: which I can move to the bottom left
but replace VOLUME with BW or FREQ or REPORT nothing on the screen
Many apologies for my English
Where is the problem
Thank you for your answer

Re: Customising the Ryde information display
Hi Philippe,
Just double checking that you are running the latest version?
Can you post the OSD section of your config using a [code][/code] block?
