Ryde Bluetooth??

Post by radiogareth » Sun Jun 20, 2021 9:39 am

My Ryde is fitted into a very small box which does compromise the audio quality especially at higher volume levels. (none of my HDMI monitors have speakers....). The RPi is set up to output audio to the 3.5 jack which feeds a small internal amplifier. I could add an external jack socket to allow use of PC type speakers or even a simple extension speaker.
Then I remembered I have at least 2 Bluetooth audio speakers with built in power etc....so I'm wondering if I could use this as an audio source?
Is the bluetooth able to cope on top of the existing RX processing work the RPi is doing?
