Lock LED

I build the Ryde and it works fine apart from one little annoying problem.

The lock LED does not come on when I have perfect reception of any station.
When I power down it flashes a few times so the hardware seems ok.
It is connected to the correct GPIO pin.
As I want to use it in a repeater application it is a problem

Any hints ?

It should work. There is not a lot that can be done incorrectly. Are you using the break out board? If not have you connected it correctly?

I made my own interface board.
The lock is a simple pin 7 to a resistor to the LED to ground.
It flashes when I power the Pi down so the hardware seems ok.

Jack

Are you using the standard build? Have you put anything else on the SD Card?

Please could you post some photos of your interface board?

That was the older version. Are you sure it's on pin 7? It works on all the other versions. Have you ever in the past connected 5V to the GPIO ? That would break it.

Works flawless here on a fresh build...
Using the lock to get an other RPI to stream...

Strange
The port 4+works, the LED works but no go.
Looks like software but that is unlikely as well

I must be missing something
