laser cut panel

Post by m1cdq » Sat Feb 27, 2021 1:27 pm

based on the https://wiki.batc.org.uk/File:Ryde1PanelPrimative.zip
I have created a laser cut file. I am still working out a few things on it. Making the border a bit bigger
But here are a few test runs on it. I don't have a ryder switch panel to test on. I have just gone by the 3d printer file

I will be giving the completed file to the BATC for the Wiki.
if there is interest i will do a small batch of about 20. These will be around £3.50 inc Post and package
(With some of the money raised going to GB3GG)
Its only in orange at the moment. As I dont have any black acrylic

Very nice - I would suggest making it a bit bigger around the edges then people can cut to size to suit their case.

You can start from the original in Tinkercad if it helps https://www.tinkercad.com/things/jJyfF75DLYA

cheers for that. I have increased the outer edge by about 4mm on all sides. With this i can get 14 on a sheet with minimal waste
I will be able to custom boarder size on request. but will cost a little more
these are cut on a k40 50w laser

Hi , I would like one of these switch panels. How much do I pay including postage and how do you want me to pay you?
