Ryde Receiver

Post by gu6efb » Sat Nov 14, 2020 4:35 pm

Hi
I was looking for the best way to use my Ryde receiver as not wanting to tie up a monitor just for DATV.
I pulled an old laptop from a skip and removed the 15” TFT display. After a little bit of researching I found a TFT display drive PCB from E-bay for £20.0. This small PCB arrived complete with all the necessary leads, display inverter and a remote control.
The PCB has the following inputs
TV+HDMI+VGA+CVBS+USB T.VST56
I have connected it all together and now have the start of a self-contained Ryde DATV receiver.
Now just need to design a housing for for the screen, Raspberry Pi and MiniTiouner.
