Strength permanently?

Hello,
I had read it here before, some time ago.

Which file do I have to edit and how to display the field strength permanently?
Can I also change the position of the field strength etc. display (at the top edge of the image, instead of on the right)?
I always have crazy ideas.
Please don't be surprised.

Thomas, I assume you are asking about the Ryde screen?
