Hi,
I have just updated my Ryde to the newest version of software with a shop built card.
After setting my remote to the Samsung 32 remote which I have been using with the old version of software everything seems to work except for the volume down - pressing the down button does not even bring up the display on the screen.
Volume up and all other buttons work OK.
Is there a setting in the files I can check to see if the remote has the correct codes for it ?
If so, what code should the down button have ?

Samsung Remote Volume Down Not Working
Re: Samsung Remote Volume Down Not Working
Well, that took some sorting out, but got it working now.
By using Kitty, and lots of googling to find out how to navigate in Raspberry Pi and edit files with nano, I found out that the file Samsung_32.yaml has an error in it.
The volume down was shown as 0x70706
It should be 0x7070b
Editing that cured the problem.

Re: Samsung Remote Volume Down Not Working
Hi Nick
Well done on the detective work and the fix!
I must admit to that being a transcription error on my part (can't read my own writing) as I worked out the codes for that remote (which is usually on our "kitchen TV") prior the initial batch of remote controls being published.
I've just corrected the online version.
Thanks
Dave
