Wideband FM?
Wideband FM?
I know Langstone is intended for narrowband modes. Might it easily be extended for domestic wideband FM stations? They are handy for sound tests.

Think I asked that a while back and got a 'no plans' answer. Fairly sure the Portsdown supports the RTL dongle for that sort of usage.....

Re: Wideband FM?
Langstone uses 48KHz sampling for generating and receiving all modes. That is not high enough to handle wideband FM. Increasing the sampling rate would put extra processing load on the Pi which is already working quite hard.

Portsdown 4 has it on Menu 2, RTL-FM RX, just tested it on local FM station. OK so you need a £10 RTL dongle....
