Sat mode for QO100
Sat mode for QO100
I'm planning to build a set up for QO100 using a Langstone Microwave Transceiver. Since for SAT operation, RX and TX usually are working simultaneously, I would like to know where there are any restrictions concerning the SAT-mode of the langstone microwave transceiver (i.e. the perfomance of the raspberry IV).
Re: Sat mode for QO100
Langstone works well on the satellite.
When you program different offsets for transmit and receive the software will show SAT mode on the display. You then will have an extra ‘Moni’ button which allows you to receive while transmitting.

Seconded, its a really nice solution to working on QO-100.
You will need a very stable LNB (Bullseye is OK) or one with an external stable reference. The Pluto will also benefit from changing to a decent TXCO upgrade (0.2ppm ideally) or external lock solution.
