I am having several issues with a Rev. A pluto.
I saw Colin updated the Github today with waterfall so tried installing and it doesn't show on my Rev A. but everything else works. tx rx freq change etc.
Also the the con-fig file wont accept Lan settings? (edit save eject)

I now have Lan working with a network adapter with the small otg on it. On a Rev B Pluto.
The waterfall also is working on this revision.

Ill have to update the firmware on the Rev A and try again.

The otg to Ethernet adapter that worked is Branded "Plug able" fast Ethernet (small black plastic case no USB hub) Borrowed from GB3KM new build ;)

Thanks help Terry

Interesting, the waterfall is created by the GNU Radio module and not directly from the Pluto. That would tend to suggest that the Rev A Pluto is not actually providing any samples. If it will take the later firmware then I would think that would get it working.

Hi at all,

wouldn't it be helpful to make the IP address adjustable via the menu?

Good idea, but not easy to do! Maybe one day.

Hello Collin,
thank you for your answer.

Can you tell me the files in which i need to change the ip address?

Maybe an idea to explain the change of the IP address using instructions?
I could imagine that other OMs would also like to operate the Pluto near the antenna.

You should not need to change the address, I am using ip:pluto.local which should work with any address.

If you want to hard code an address then you need to edit 3 files

Lang_RX.py
Lang_TX.py
LangstoneGUI.c

Changing 'ip:pluto.local' to 'ip:192.168.nnn.nnn'

Note that using the Pluto over a local network needs a fast connection and minimal other traffic. A dedicated separate network connection may be needed. Some people have also needed to increase the buffer sizes in the python files.

Colin.
