Hi Jorgen,

I have read of other people having similar issues with their Plutos. I don't think I have ever seen a definite answer. Most Plutos seem to have reasonable IQ balance but there are some, like yours, that seem to be not so good.

When I first started with Langstone I deliberately offset the Tx signal from the center frequency, and that does significantly reduce the carrier level. However the leakage is still present at the LO frequency and then shows up as an unwanted spur in the spectrum. Probably a worse problem than having poor carrier suppression.

Good luck with the repeater use. I have been experimenting with using the Pluto as a receive frequency converter and it works surprisingly well. It is just two blocks in GNURadio! A Pluto source directly connected to a Pluto sink.
