Behringer U-Phoria sound cards working

Post by KA5BBC » Tue Oct 06, 2020 4:54 pm

I now have behringer U-Phoria USB sound interfaces working with the Langstone on both transmit and receive.
With a combination of the advice given in this forum and stumbling across other information in unrelated forum I was able to correctly edit the Lang_RX.py and Lang_TX.py files.

Rather than editing the hardware reference for just the device name you must also change hw: to plughw:

Once this is done you can also adjust mic gain and speaker output in alsamixer to 0db as you well then have total control from the device itself.
Sound quality is high and using balanced cables and there is no noise.
