Hi All
I have a Lime SDR Mini.
I have used it with SDR angel on a PC and so it works.

I have updated the Portsdown software to the latest version.
I am using the latest RPi.
I insert my Lime Mini into a Pi USB socket. (I know a power hub is reccomended thats on order,..)

On M1 Output to Lime Mini is selected even though Lime USB Lime Mini and Wxpress are greyed out in menu.

No Lime Mini is detected.

Following the Wikki instructions and going into M3 the Lime Mini is not detected.


The LED is on on the Lime Mini.

Is there a step I have missed or do I really require a powered hub to get it noticed:-)

Not sure what you have missed. However a powered hub does not seem to be essential. Mine works fine with the Lime mini directly connected to the Pi3 B+.

I have Shut down and then powered up from cold and it says No lime Mini Detected. Check connections.

I guess I could always try and force the update from M3 but that was to be a last resort.

That failed too as expected as the lime is not detected?
Also using the latest Pi3B+ courtessy of my Elektor subscription.

rebooted piagain (4th time) qand now it sees the lime??
