HamTV Transmitter is Back in Houston
HamTV Transmitter is Back in Houston
It appears NASA wants another pound of flesh out of ARISS / AmSat. They told ARISS that they had to re-qualify the transmitter even though it was only a repair job. They are asking for another $125K to re-qualify it. Apparently they have ponied-up the money because it is back in Houston for qualification.

Re: HamTV Transmitter is Back in Houston
My current understanding is that we could see it launched up again within the first half of this year, although that depends on if they decide to delay and integrate something new on the input to replace the black-screen-with-blue-line that was the anti-climactic feature of every successful ground station test last time!
