Hi all
I love watching the streams on /live but I constantly have to give Flash permission to run which can get rather tedious. Also, Flash is rapidly approaching end of life, with Adobe themselves retiring it next year (ask an OM how fast a year passes!) and many browsers reporting that they will stop it running completely in the very near future.
Are there any plans to change the live streams to HTML5 or another format rather than (or as well as) Flash?

BATC stream owners can already set their stream to be HTML 5 (on their dashboard once they log in). The problem is that HTML 5 introduces >10 seconds of delay, whereas flash is only a few seconds. There is no other practical low-latency streaming format.
There is a Windows 10/chrome registry modification that will, for now, give flash default permission to run from a specific web site (such as the BATC streamer).

We are going to have little choice soon unless another low latency solution can be found as on December 31st 2020 Adobe Systems will officially stop updating and distributing Adobe Flash.
