Hi Mike

You'll need to enable flash for this specific site. Right click on the word "Secure" in the Chrome address bar, and then find the option to allow flash.

I'll leave my stream up for a while for a test.

Your input string should read: rtmp://rtmp.batc.org.uk/live/AD6XY-FNLRdv Different format from the old site. BTW, I've named it Stream 42

That worked - but I have flash set to ask, not disabled. So something not quite right. This is to stop streams starting up automatically and using all my data allowance.

From the Events page links open over the BATC site.
Would it perhaps be better to open link in a seperate tab so you are not navigated out of the club web site?

Actually all of the hyper links I have tried so far take you out of the club site.
My personal preference would be to keep club page open as above and link out.

Under online where links do open new tabs could a link be added for Portsdown users?

On home page its great to have the images scrolling accross or in the middle but a newcomer to the hobby would not have a clue what some of them are.
Perhaps a description could be added to those that require explanation?

wow all those countries !!
but how do you renew membership?

Committee

Most have just callsigns no name
Brian our Hon tres needs a callsign (G8GQS)

Clive has no email address

Can I reccomend Hivelogic enkoder for email addresses
It is java based and hides the email address from spiders.

Great work

Hi Noel et al,

Site looks good but hit a problem at the start.

Trying to register a new membership using the info you provided and it will not register for me saying that my email address is already registered but I haven't created an account yet.

Tried alternative emails based on by usual one - I have a facility called "plus addressing" on my email addresses, similar to something that Google use. Involves using a "+" after email address - so email@somedomain.com and email+org1@somedomain.com are treated as identical and delivered to email@somedomain.com. New site will not accept this.

And it worked if I changed my username!!

Does it know existing BATC logins?

Logout.

Normally I would expect to go top the top right of a website to find the link to logout/account details.
Instead, it is under the "Members" menu item on the left-middle of the menu.

No issue with functionality, just an odd place to look for it.

Hi Ciaran

No, there has been no import of data - but there was already a user set up by you? on 23rd January... with m0xtd as the user name which I think has caused the confusion...

OK on log out function position - keep it coming...

Hi Noel,

OK thanks.

That was an aborted session - you could be at risk of having lots of accounts created without anyone going through the checkout process as that is exactly what happened. I attempted to sign up on my phone, but didn't go through with the checkout - sounds like the account was created anyway but had no notification that the account had been created.
