Hello

I have been receiving my new REF MiniTiouner.
I have done assembly and run all tests, they are 100% Ok
I have good signal on satellite with Voice.

I have read user manual which comes with installation packet.
I am a bit lost to start, i no not get any lock for data

Is there somewhere good instruction/ Webinar or is somebody willing to guide me online
thru Google Meet or any remote tool ?

Hi Esko,

a good starting point is to decode the DATV beacon.
All necessary data is directly available in the MT program.
Simply press the beacon button.
Narrowband (Voice) needs 12V LNB power supply.
Wideband (DATV) 18V
How big is your dish?

And here something to read: https://wiki.batc.org.uk/MiniTioune_software

Hello Rainer

I have 1.2m Dish and i am receiving Voice in very strong
with My SDR Play SDR Receiver where i have Bias-t and 12V DC power supply
for LNB.

I have Pressed Beacon icon , but no lock .

I have STD LNB , Could this be issues for Frequence erroe caused by LNB ?

Hi Esko,

Your LNB will RX narrowband signals fine with your SDR and 12V feed to the LNB. For DATV you need to feed 18V to the LNB for horizontal polarity. If your Minitiouner provides LNB voltage, you will need to enable this in the Minitioune software. Otherwise you will need to feed 18V to your bias tee.

Starting a new Minitiouner installation can be very difficult..
The latest software has not the test files from the V0.9beta 8 package....

So first you need some test program CheckMiniTiouneDriverAndFilters_V0_5a witch can test your pc drivers and codec.. It wil test also your Minitiouner Hardware.

This will confirm your PC drivers and minitiouner.

Next wil be the right program settings and specially the LO from your LNC.

If needed i could help you online...
