RT5047 BATC AddOn Board

Post by OE8JPQ » Mon Sep 30, 2019 1:47 pm

Hi,

I've succesfully bult the RT5047 board and there is one question left:

How do i connect the other RT5047 for the second lnb? I mean +12V/GND/LNB is clear but with VSel and Enable i'm not so shure.
Do i just make a y-connection there or are there some dedicated pins for this?

PS: If there are only 5-6V on the output (LNB) the ground connection underneath the IC is not present/faulty . Maybe it is a good idea to add this fact to the wiki. I had the same problem on one side and it took me a while to figure that out :? :D

I've just installed them parallel. In my case I have one demodulator, so I don't have any problems with this.

The photos at tthe bottom of https://wiki.batc.org.uk/Serit_LNB_DC_supply show the wiring interconnections on the Minitioune V2 board. It's still not great and an unfinished piece of information. For input A, J3, J7 [shared with OLED] and J8 are involved.
