Hi Noel,
Of course you can, we're all in this to help each other aren't we. You could also add that to repair the other F socket feed, the dc input pin to the NIM is the one directly below the one used in the photo.

...are you sure I can't use a pair of 813's?...

WIth my many and various 'connection things' since I built my MT I now have no volts on either pin A or B. My limited knowledge suggests that I can use a nominal 100uH inductor (most come out a lot lower, Chinese QC hard at work!) if I can't find (a) any ferrite beads (b) a 10uH unit.
I've some 1uH 800 ma SMD pellets but I calculate their reactance at 144MHz is only 1K. Be a LOT easier to solder in a through-hole unit.

Thank you Dave,

I've chosen this one:

Digikey code 495-5609-1-ND

The 10 uH choke might be improving 146 MHz performance but I would expect it to be much worse at 2400 MHz. These kind of wired parts have a series resonance frequency much lower than 1 GHz so they appear as low impedance so I guess you have reduced sensitivity at the high end of the Serit's RX range.

Hi ??? DH2VA

In direct comparison with the other input to the NIM there is no difference in performance according to the signal reports given by Minitioune on QO-100, I don't have 2.4GHz gear to try it there.

Whats the rating/type number of the yellow thermal/self-resetting fuse?
Thanks

Hi Gareth,
The circuit diagram says F2 is 300ma
The parts list says 300ma to 1A.
The suggested Digikey part number is
MF-R050-ND which is 60 V 500ma resettable.
