I had written that the MiniTiouner-Express is designed for hams world-wide that do not yet own a MiniTiouner unit with DVB-S2 capability. F6DZP responded:

Yes...I got myself confused. The Serit NIM is needed only to receive DVB-S2 16APSK and 32APSK digital modulations. So earlier MiniTiouner units without Serit NIMs can not receive DVB-S2 16APSK and 32APSK digital modulations....but can receive DVB-S2 QPSK and 8PSK modulation.

Yes, I have heard many hams with belief that this shipping cost is excessive to Europe. I can assure you that US$33 is the price charged by US Postal Service for shipping a small box to most of the world.

There is a delay while they test and confirm all units are 100%. Hopefully they will get the all clear soon

The issue with the Minitiouner-Express has now been found and is an easy fix.
Hopefully shipping will start in a couple of weeks.
We are in the process of arranging a UK source for shipping.

The price for the MiniTiouner-Express board is US $75 + shipping + Ohio Sales Tax if you live in the state of Ohio
Shipping for USA is US $7.00
Shipping to the European Union is US $24.00 including the VAT. (sent from the UK)
Shipping anywhere international is US $35.00
There may be a little extra delay from UK as first few sold out. Next few are on their way via customs ready to be reshipped.
When this batch sells out, it may take some time for future batches.
You need to register on the website, then you can pay by paypal/credit card.

Just an update:
All MiniTiouner-Express units shipped from USA after April 19 and all units shipped from UK (started around April 27 or so) are updated with the EEPROM change needed for compatibility with v0.8s of the MiniTioune software.
