Problem with FT2232H

Hi,

I bought two FT2232H modules from the BATC shop at different times.
One is working out of the box,
the other one establishs a connection to USB for a few seconds than always disconnects, so no chance to get the MiniTiouner SW working.
The (faulty?) FT2232H is not shown under system control...

Any hints?

Hi Rainer,

Sounds like a loose socket - have you tried a different cable? If you've still got a problem, I can send a replacement.

Thanks for your reply.

I inserted and removed the modules several times.
One is always working in the first attempt, so I would say, sockets and cable are not causing the problem.
The second one is failing everytime within seconds, you always can hear the system sound while finding and loosing the device.

But I will double check it after my vacation when I am home again.

Hi,

Still the same problem.
I resoldered the sockets, cleaned all pins, changed the cable, inserted and removed it about 20 times and one module is failing all the time.
Any other ideas?
