Hi Brian,

the switch is more secure but also more inconvinient...
But of course you have to change the tuner as well so switching is an option.
I will go for a jumper.

Anyone actually tried running the Serit at 1V?

The data sheet says min operating voltage 0.99v, max 1.21v, typical 1v1

Not tried it myself though.

The instructions relating to the 22kHz output are not correct.

The J101 22kHz select jumper should be placed on the TX side, not RX as stated. This routes the 22kHz to pin 10 on the Sharp / Eardatek, not pin 11 as stated.

The intention was to route the 22kHz to pin 12 on the Sharp / Eardatek, which is where it appears when the NIM is directly connect to the MiniTiouner. NIM pin 10 on the MiniTiouner routes the 22kHz to pin 3 of J4 on the MiniTiouner, which may be more accessible, but not where you expect it.

You could connect MiniTiouner NIM pads 10 to 12 together and then it would appear in both places. These are the pads on opposite sides of the larger gap on the bottom side of the MiniTiouner NIM pads.

I'll update the instructions shortly.

As of 7 March 2017, the latest version of the instructions is 1-07, parts list Build A1 v1, Schematic A1 v2 and Silkscreen.
