The answer is that the Touchscreen 2 is not compatible with Portsdown or Langstone as it is a different resolution and is designed to be used in portrait, not landscape, mode. As both Portsdown and Langstone write to the screen at a very basic level, none of the "rotate" fixes that work with a desktop mode are suitable.
Here is a list of supported hardware, screen and SDR:
- Portsdown 2020: Raspberry Pi 3, 7 inch Touch display, LimeSDR
- Portsdown 4/Langstone V2: Raspberry Pi 4, 7 inch Touch display, LimeSDR
- Portsdown 4/Langstone V2: Raspberry Pi 4, 7 inch Touch display, Pluto SDR
- Langstone V3: Raspberry Pi 5, 7 inch Touch display, Pluto SDR
