PD4 & Pluto & Logitech C920

Post by on8ge » Sat Apr 26, 2025 1:58 pm

Hello,

I just updated my working install of PD4.
It seems to have a bug. All is ok if I use piscreen, contest numbers or testcards as source
but if i choose webcam, both light on the webcam flashed half second and pluto not transmit.

Any idea ?

Did you remember the audio settings? Is the camera working? They often have USB lead damage.

audio settings were off

C920 monitor works fine. If i put a lime mini as TX, all works fine with the cam.
I tried to make a fresh install on another PD4, same issue.

It is with the pluto only.

Try setting the audio to auto.

What version of C920 do you have?

Go to M2, File Menu, List USB devices and tell me what the entry is for the C920.

It was also working with my C930e but not with the upgrade and pluto

Are you sure that you haven't changed the Pluto firmware?

If so, I'll do some testing later.

Hi Pierre

I have updated my test Portsdown and tested both my Logitech Cameras (an old C920 and a C170) with the Pluto this evening, and it all works for me.

Please could you post a photo/screenshot of your Portsdown main menu here? Then I can try it with your settings.

How is your Pluto connected to the Portsdown (ethernet or USB?)

After the transmission fails, can you still check the Pluto firmware version, or has the Pluto disconnected?
