Portsdown 4 Update for new BATC EasyCap

I have just released an update to the Portsdown 4 (202310110) that adds limited support for the MS2106 EasyCap composite video capture device that is available from the BATC Shop https://batc.org.uk/shop/video-capture- ... portsdown/.

The update introduces the capability for Lime and Pluto H264 DVB-S/S2 transmissions and streaming using this EasyCap (and the old one). DVB-T and MPEG-2 are not yet supported. Full details can be found here: https://wiki.batc.org.uk/Portsdown_hard ... ure_Device

I have also added some support (Lime DVB-S/S2 H264 transmissions) for the Logitech Brio 4K Camera.

I have both types of "easycaps" as mentioned above both checked in Portsdown via menu 2 /
File menu/ list usb.
The Fushicai shows as easycap .
The other one shows as 534d:0021

Problem: the 534d:0021 displays video ok via the monitor function. All good
When I then switch to menu 1 & tx I only transmit a Green Screen.
If I reboot it's the same fine on monitor function but no video on TX. Checked all connections etc.

534d:0021 displays/ captures fine on a pc as does the genuine Fushicai.
My Portsdown is fully up to date


Any ideas ?

Hi Ken

To fault find this, I need to know all the settings that you are using. Please could you provide a photo of Menu 1 when you are trying to transmit?
