Portsdown 4 DVB-S2 problem with Pluto (no TX)

Dear OMs,
I'm having trouble using Portsdown 4 with ADALM Pluto.
If the DVB-S2 operation is set up with a Test Card or Contest Numbers source, the setup transmits OK.

But if I switch to Pi Cam, or Webcam C920 does not generate any signal:(

The configuration is as follows:
- HW ADALM Pluto Rev.C (D on the PCB)
- FW Pluto - v0.31-4-g9ceb-dirty
- Pluto - Both CPUs Enabled
- Pluto - Expanded to AD9364
- Portsdown ver. - 202304300

Please advise if anyone has encountered the same problem.

Hi,

I think your problem will be you need the white usb to 3.5mm dongle seleleted as audio mic input.

Hi Michal,

The Portsdown should work with an "old" Logitech C920 camera. Maybe you have one of the newer types with brandname "Logi" on it instead of Logitech. These C920 have different USB VID and PId and won't work.
Easy way to find out the VID and PID is to plug in the camera on a windows computer and go to setup > device manager.
Then you select the C920 camera and look at the properties:

I have not tested with a PIcam, but the Picam may need a sound input device as Brian already wrote.
