Win32diskimager and Win 11

Post by M1ASR » Mon May 22, 2023 7:41 pm

Dear all, I needed to build a new Portsdown 2020 SD card and Win32diskimager wouldn’t work. I used the Raspberry Pi imager in the end, which worked ok. Anyone found a version that works with Windows 11. Thank you in advance. Graham M1ASR

I think BalenaEtcher is supposed to be Windows 11 compatible, but I don't run 11 so haven't tried it.

If you like a simple exe with no installer then Rufus has worked well for me.

Yes, Balena Etcher and rpi imager are both fine. Just written a Portsdown 2020 SD Card with etcher and rpi imager in Windows 11. Thank you for all the replies.
